Here are some links to sites which I consider useful in my personal and professional pursuits.

My Friends (at least those who have sites to their names) Come First

Stephen Fried

An excellent humor writer whose blog documents some of the unusual details of observant Jewish life in New York

Kseniya Ivnitskaya

An excellent writer who applied her talent to business and marketing while studying at New York University. Like me, she spends her spare time with her sketchbook and visiting art galleries.

Luke Gehrke-Rodriguez

Luke was my classmate in F.H. LaGuardia High School and went on to study interior design at Pratt Institute. He is a gifted artist and one of the most exciting personalities I know.

Karina Ioffee

CUNY J-School colleague. Also born in Riga. Has extensive writing experience, mostly from the west coast.

Nicholas C. Martinez

CUNY J-School colleague, specializes in arts and culture reporting, in video format. Huge comics book fan.

Sandra C. Roa

CUNY J-School colleague, specializes in photography and immigrant community reporting

Kevin Walsh

Kevin is my favorite urban historian, the man behind the legendary Forgotten New York site, which was recently printed into a book.
