At a time when the prevalence of diabetes and obesity among American children is on the rise, the Wiggles’ approach is not only positive, but the colorful four continue to succeed.

The Wiggles themselves were skeptical that there was an audience for helping children learn through music and dance. The booking agent told them they didn’t have the money, but they stuck to their guns and became hugely popular in Australia. Next up was the US, where the Wiggles are now such a hit at Playhouse Disney that their tours are sold out—they’ve had to add second and third shows in multiple cities.

5) Mastering international and multicultural cultures is not difficult.

The Wiggles don’t need a multicultural sensitivity training class. If you give joy to millions of children, it does not help to have a positive effect on your family.
